Peru soccer women team will compete in Group A of the 2025 Women’s Copa América, and will play against Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, in the continental tournament organized by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) in Ecuador from July 12 to August 2, 2025.
The official draw for the competition divided the 10 participating teams into two groups. Group A features Peru alongside host nation Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. Meanwhile, Group B includes Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Bolivia.
This prestigious event offers significant stakes: the two finalists will secure spots at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Additionally, three teams will qualify for the 2027 Pan American Games which will be hosted by Peru.
As the Peruvian women’s team prepares to showcase their talent on the continental stage, hopes are high for a strong performance in this crucial tournament.
