Economy and Finance Minister Jose Salardi took part in the Constructive Dialogue Roundtable No. 1, where he led the discussion on the economic environment for mining investment in Peru.

"We continue to promote opportunities and attract investments," the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) emphasized on the X platform on Monday evening.

Likewise, the Peruvian government official held a working meeting with Hatch, a Canadian company and the technical arm of the Chavimochic Special Project.

"The meeting focused on strengthening irrigation in the agriculture sector of the country's north," the MEF stated.

Yesterday, Minister Salardi, along with some members of the Executive Branch, began efforts to position Peru as a destination for new mining investments at the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention —the world's largest mining exploration and development gathering held in Toronto.
