Global Industry Outlook
The global toy market is projected to hit 129 billion dollars in 2024, with expectations of reaching 143 billion dollars by 2028, fueled by technological innovations, e-commerce growth, and rising demand for educational toys.
These trends reflect broader consumer interests, such as fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in children. By 2032, the educational toy sector alone is expected to exceed 111 billion dollars.
Sustainability also plays a pivotal role. The demand for eco-friendly toys, particularly wooden alternatives, aligns with global preferences for environmentally responsible products. Interactive and smart toys are further redefining the market by offering personalized, digital experiences.
In 2023, China, the Czech Republic, and Vietnam led global toy exports, while the U.S., Germany, and the U.K. dominated imports. As digitalization and sustainability converge, Peru’s export performance underscores its adaptability in a competitive market.
