President Dina Boluarte on Friday stated that the Peruvian economy is advancing steadily toward consolidation in 2025, following its recovery this year, and called for unity among all Peruvians to ensure this achievement.

"Consolidation will require the unity of all our brothers and sisters from the coast, the highlands, and the jungle. In the north, the center, and the south of the country, I ask that we write the best chapter of our history together, united for the progress of our beloved Peru," she indicated.

Mrs. Boluarte added that "we set the country in motion and no one can stop it now; our destiny is to be a country that makes history."

On this occasion, the Head of State was joined by Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen and Defense Minister Walter Astudillo.

Message to Graduates

The President congratulated the 99 FAP officers who are graduating, of whom 13 are women.

Similarly, the Head of State asked them to uphold the qualities of the academic training in their forthcoming mission to protect sovereignty and actively contribute to national development.

"With courage, a vocation for service, and following the example of our national hero, Captain Jose Abelardo Quiñones, I am confident that all of you will play a key role in the path of progress that our beloved homeland is always called to follow," she stated.

The top official reminded the graduating cadets that the country commits them to fighting against internal and external threats and to making Peru a much greater nation.

The President also renewed her government's commitment to continuing to support the Air Force in its modernization process.

Similarly, Mrs. Boluarte indicated that the FAP's recently-inaugurated satellite communications system is a significant advancement for military operations, integration, and connectivity with air bases located in various Peruvian regions.

"Dear ensigns: may the motto 'up, always up' guide you throughout your career in service of Peru. Our government is with you and with more than 34 million compatriots to make the dream of a more just, inclusive, and competitive country a reality, a benchmark for progress and economic growth across the region," she concluded.
