said he expects public works execution to surpass S/60 billion (US$15.902 billion) in 2025, after having exceeded S/57 billion (US$15.107 billion) by the end of 2024.
"On the budget execution side, as I mentioned in previous presentations, we have reached S/57 billion in the execution of (public) works. We hope to increase it next year to over S/60 billion (US$15.902 billion)," he stated.
In this regard, the government official mentioned that the
presence of President Dina Boluarte at the upcoming World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, is aimed at showcasing Peru as a country that is a magnet for investments.
"An attractive country, an interesting country, a country that strives to provide security for investors because we need to invest in order to continue growing," he emphasized.
These remarks were made during a press conference following the Council of Ministers session on Wednesday afternoon.
