Through his social media channels, the Cabinet chief noted that these developments are clear signs of the country's economic recovery.
Regarding trade, Adrianzen reported a 3.45% growth in September.
"The commercial activity in that month was driven by wholesale sales of food, fuel, and machinery, while in the retail sector, growth was led by sales in supermarkets, pharmacies, and department stores," he wrote.
Formal Employment
Regarding employment, Adrianzen highlighted a recovery in formal employment during September of this year.
"Formal jobs grew by 4% compared to September 2023," the Prime Minister stated, citing figures from INEI.
In this regard, the high-ranking official noted that 231,000 new formal jobs were added during the mentioned month.
Previously, formal employment growth was recorded at 2.2% last August.
