The Embassy of Peru in France highlighted the values of the Peruvian delegation during its participation at the current Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The diplomatic mission affirmed that its presence is also an opportunity to promote our country's image abroad.

Ambassador to France, Rolando Ruiz Rosas, expressed his wish for success to the Peruvian athletes and that their participation in the European country reflects the results of years of hard preparation and dedication.

The reception was organized for the Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) delegation. It was supported by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru).

The ambassador stressed that, with the same Olympic spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie, our country will soon host the 2024 Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho and the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima.

In Paris, the participating athletes and the COP delegation were honored with an Inca ceremony and a Peruvian gastronomy tasting session.

The ceremony also saw the participation of Peru's Trade Office in Paris (OCEX Paris) Director Rosario Pajuelo; Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) Chairman Renzo Manyari; COP members Ivan Dibos, Leyla Chihuan, Natalia Malaga, and Cecilia Tait; representatives of international sports federations, Olympic committees, and tourism sector professionals.
