on Tuesday participated in the inauguration of the "República de Colombia School" located in Santa Cruz de Cocachacra district, Huarochiri province, Lima region.
The Head of State was accompanied by Education Minister Morgan Quero, along with sectoral, provincial, and district authorities.
Also in attendance was Lima Region Governor Rosa Vasquez.
The new educational institution entailed investment of S/46 million (US$12.4 million) and will benefit a total of 280 students.
Additionally, during her tour of the facilities, the top official committed to providing internet access and computers for the students.
During the visit, it was also reported that the construction of this infrastructure created a total of 198 jobs. The building is earthquake-resistant.
