Peru: President meets with Congress Chairman

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte held a working meeting with Parliament Chairman Eduardo Salhuana at the Government Palace in Lima on Monday morning.

During the meeting, various topics related to actions in favor of all Peruvians were discussed, as reported by the Presidential Office on the X platform.

The Presidential Office also shared images of the arrival and entry of Salhuana to the Executive Branch headquarters, where he was received as befits his rank.

The new Board of Congress, headed by Eduardo Salhuana, was sworn in to office on July 27.

On July 28, the Head of State arrived at Parliament headquarters to deliver her Address to the Nation on the occasion of Peru's Independence Day Anniversary.

In turn, Salhuana has indicated that the Executive Branch bills announced by President Boluarte in said message will be analyzed and reviewed by the respective ordinary commissions.
