Peru: President Boluarte holds bilateral meeting with Thailand's PM

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.

"In the context of the upcoming 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Peru and Thailand, the leader of the Peruvian economy, Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, held a meeting with Thailand's Prime Minister, Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra," it stated.

It was also reported that during the meeting, discussions addressed topics related to tourism development, public health, gastronomy, cultural exchange, among others.

The Thai Prime Minister arrived Wednesday at Air Group Number 8 in Callao region, where she was welcomed by Housing Minister Durich Whittembury.

The official is visiting Peru to participate in the APEC Leaders' Week taking place in Lima.


Peru is hosting APEC for the third time after the 2008 and 2016 editions.
