The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday stated the Government is working in an honest and honorable manner, and that its best communication with the country is through the delivery of public works.

During the inauguration of 2099 Rosa Merino Bicentennial School, Mrs. Boluarte said that this educational institution was built in 11 months, without any sign of corruption.

"The most important thing is that in those 11 months, while the school was being built, there was not a single sign of corruption; we are working honestly and honorably; that is how it must always be," she expressed.

In this regard, the Head of State said the communication from her Government is through efforts, results, actions, and public works.

"That is the communication I bring to the people, and we have been doing it by delivering each project, each unblocking of projects. We will continue to move forward, communicating in this way with the people; this is the best communication that the President of the Republic provides," she stated.

The 2099 Rosa Merino educational institution is the seventeenth Bicentennial School inaugurated by top official. It was built with an investment worth over S/60 million (above US$16.14 million) and will host 1,260 students.

The President stressed that this educational institution features multipurpose rooms, psychomotor classrooms, and modern equipment that will enable its students to enjoy better learning conditions.

"As with this school, we have already delivered 20 Bicentennial Schools by August of this year, thus benefiting 30,000 students thanks to an investment exceeding S/1.3 billion (above US$349 million)," she pointed out

Mrs. Boluarte estimated that the 31st Bicentennial School will be delivered by the end of this year.

"This is the commitment of this President who does not waste time on criticism. We are focused on how to bring development to the country, to girls, boys, and students, thus providing parents with the peace of mind that they can count on schools where their children receive the education they deserve," she stated.

Lastly, Mrs. Boluarte reiterated her call to work in unity in order to continue advancing towards the goal of building a better Peru.
