APEC Peru 2024: Chinese Taipei's High Representative arrives in Lima

The High Representative of the Leader of Chinese Taipei, Lin Hsin-i, arrived in Lima, Peru, on Wednesday morning to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Week, currently underway.

The General Director of Economic Promotion at the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Augusto Morelli, welcomed the high-ranking official.

His arrival took place on an official aircraft that landed at Air Group No. 8, where he received the honors befitting his high position.

It was reported that the High Representative of Chinese Taipei’s leader will only fulfill the respective agenda scheduled within the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.

He is the second high-ranking official to arrive in Peru today, following the arrival of Thailand's Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

Peru is hosting APEC for the third time after the 2008 and 2016 editions.
