On the occasion, the coffin was accompanied by his family, friends, and supporters.
A large number of people arrived at Campo Fe Cemetery in Huachipa to accompany former Fujimori to his final resting place.
The funeral procession ended at the cemetery, after having
received the corresponding honors as Head of State at the Government Palace in a
ceremony led by current President Dina Boluarte.
