Peruvian performers Tony Succar and his mother, Mimy Succar, won the 2025 Grammy Award in the "Best Tropical Latin Album" category for "Alma, Corazón y Salsa (Live at Gran Teatro Nacional)."

Filled with emotion, Mimy could not avoid getting emotional in front of the audience that surrendered at the feet of the Peruvian artists at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Both of them dedicated the award to their homeland where they were born and which has closely followed their work.

Tony's brother Kenyi —also a musician— could not hide his excitement and shouted 'Chim Pum, Callao!' to the surprise and delight of the audience, before embracing his famous sibling.

This album was produced by Tony Succar featuring the participation of his mother and brother.

Don Antonio Succar —Tony's father and manager— took the stage to receive he golden gramophone. He was joined by Tony's siblings and wife.
