led the launch ceremony of Carnaval Lirqueño 2025, recognized as Cultural Heritage of the Nation, celebrated in the province of Angaraes, Huancavelica region.
This event took place at the Government Palace Courtyard of Honor in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
It saw the presence of Culture Minister Fabricio Valencia, as well as district and provincial authorities from Huancavelica.
During her speech, the top official stated that it was an honor to welcome the delegation from Lircay.
Likewise, she emphasized that the celebration of their carnival belongs not only to Huancavelica but to Peru and the world.
Moreover, President Boluarte noted that this festivity should be enjoyed not only by Peruvian tourists but also by foreigners, who will be able to experience the carnival until March 3.
"From this moment, we invite all Peruvians to visit Huancavelica, visit Lircay," she said.
Additionally, Mrs. Boluarte announced that she expects to have the construction of the Huancavelica airport initiated, the only Peruvian region without an air terminal.
