Peru is presenting a solid portfolio of mining and energy projects,
highlighted on Monday before potential investors in London, as part of the XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025.
In this regard, to position Peru as an attractive destination for sustainable investment, Minister Montero met with Orygen in the UK capital.
The meeting focused on renewable energy projects that will help diversify and strengthen the national energy matrix.
"Peru offers a solid portfolio of projects in mining and energy. We seek to attract investments that generate development, employment, and well-being, while advancing a clean and sustainable energy transition," Minister Montero emphasized.
With the aim of consolidating Peru as a reliable, competitive, and attractive destination for foreign investment, Minister Montero is participating in the XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025, held in London on September 8-9.
This international event serves as a strategic platform to promote the South American country’s prioritized mining and energy projects portfolio.
Thus, the sector's participation will also highlight Peru's advances in sustainability, electrification, and the transition to clean energy, while strengthening investor confidence through bilateral meetings with strategic companies, investment funds, and business associations.
Minem's activities in London include meetings with British companies and funds interested in learning firsthand about the opportunities Peru offers for the development of major projects.
Through these efforts, the Peruvian government reaffirms its macroeconomic strength, potential in mining and energy resources, and commitment to sustainability and the energy transition —factors that make it a strategic partner for international investors.
