The Peruvian Government —through the
— has appointed new Consuls General to the cities of Washington, D.C. and New York in the United States, plus an Honorary Consul to Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman.
These appointments were officialized through supreme resolutions published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Wednesday.
By means of Supreme Resolution No. 093-2024-RE, Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic Javier Augusto Prado Miranda is appointed Consul General of Peru to Washington D.C., United States of America.
Via Supreme Resolution No. 094-2024-RE, Minister in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic Oswaldo Alfredo del Aguila Ramirez is appointed Consul General of Peru to New York, United States of America.
In addition, by Supreme Resolution No. 095-2024-RE, Maqbool Hussain Moosa Yousuf Al-Lawati is appointed Honorary Consul of Peru to Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, with consular jurisdiction throughout its territory.
The corresponding letters patent will be granted to the Consuls General. In addition, the date on which they will take up duties is to be set by deputy ministerial resolution.
The documents were signed by the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte and Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea.
