Peru: Prime Minister highlights 2024 GDP growth

Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen emphasized that 2024 closed with outstanding success, highlighting the figures presented on the front page of Thursday's edition of the Official Gazette El Peruano.


"We closed 2024 with outstanding success, and this January 2025, we have already surpassed last year's figures. Peru with Strength," Adrianzen stated on his X account, sharing the front page of El Peruano.


Forecasts for 2025 indicate economic activity growth above 3%, as also highlighted in today's edition of the newspaper.

Minister Arista explained that no significant factors are expected to alter this projection, beyond the potential impacts from any climatic events, which are unpredictable.

In turn, the Cabinet chief underscored on his X account public budget execution across all three levels of government, noting that a new historic record has been achieved.

"As of January 28, 2025, all three levels of government have executed S/ 2.308 billion, 7% more than in January 2024, Adrianzen reported.
