Peru: FA Min attends BCIU and AS/COA meetings

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer, along with some State ministers, participated in meetings with U.S. business leaders convened by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Americas Society/Council of the Americas (AS/COA) in New York City.

During those meetings, the government official stressed that Peru is a reliable partner for investments given its fiscal solvency, international reserves, and stable investment climate.


Likewise, the diplomat extended an invitation to invest in the Peruvian multimodal logistics hub, which will include the Chancay Port, the Jorge Chavez International Airport, and the Ancon Industrial Park.


Peru-Paraguay

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer held a meeting with Paraguayan counterpart Ruben Ramirez Lezcano, at which they verified the excellent state of bilateral relations.

Likewise, the dignitaries discussed the challenges facing the region in terms of security, human rights, democracy, and migratory flows.

Both ministers also exchanged views on the reform of the United Nations System and international financial organizations.
