FA Ministry and PromPeru strengthen strategic coordination with new counselors

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru) held a working meeting to strengthen coordinated economic promotion efforts and showcase the business opportunities Peru offers abroad.

During the session, the newly appointed economic and trade counselors assigned to priority markets such as London, New Delhi, Tokyo, Paris, and Milan were introduced.

The counselors were received by Foreign Affairs Minister Hugo de Zela.

The Cabinet member highlighted the experience gained through joint work between Peru's embassies and consulates and PromPeru's trade offices, underscoring their contribution to positioning the country in international markets.


During the event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and PromPeru reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening external action in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, and gastronomy.

It was also agreed on the importance of diversifying markets and promoting higher value-added export offerings as key elements in driving Peru's economic development.
