The protocol ceremony will be held following an invitation from Peruvian Head of State, Dina Boluarte, the Peruvian government agency noted in a statement.
This will be the
Asian leader's first state visit to Latin America, as he arrives in Lima for APEC Peru 2024.
"During the visit, both heads of state, accompanied by their work teams, will review the progress on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in 2012," the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out in a statement.
The leaders will also adopt instruments to further boost cooperation in digital government, information and communication technologies (ICT), defense industries, tourism, knowledge exchange on critical mineral supply chains, and hydrobiological products trade.
