South Korea's Cultural Week held in Lima within framework of APEC Peru 2024

Seeking to foster encounters of popular cultural expressions from South Korea and Peru, a traditional art show from the Asian country was held as part of South Korea's Cultural Week, within the framework of APEC for the People.


This event saw the presence of authorities, such as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Jong-uk Choi; Peruvian Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen; Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Elizabeth Galdo; Peru-South Korea Parliamentary Friendship League Chairman, Congressman Victor Flores; and APEC Peru 2024 Working Group Chairman, Ambassador Carlos Chavez-Taffur.

During South Korea's Cultural Week 2024, the presence of Q-Pop (Quechua Pop) representative Lenin Tamayo stood out.

The final stage of the K-pop World Festival Peru 2024 was also held on the occasion, whose winners will compete at the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2024 in the Asian country.

These cultural activities took place at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru's (PUCP) NOS Convention Center in Lima's San Isidro district.
