The
led a working meeting with State ministers, representatives of the Peruvian National Police (PNP), the Armed Forces, and four telecom operators to analyze joint actions aimed at fighting criminal organizations dedicated to extortion, contract killings, and other crimes affecting Peru.
The meeting was also attended by Ministers Walter Astudillo (Defense), Raul Perez Reyes (Transportation-Communications), and Eduardo Arana (Justice-Human Rights).
This event took place at the Government Palace in Lima on Monday.
During this session, a detailed report was presented on compliance with the agreements adopted at the previous Council session held last January.
