President Dina Boluarte on Friday stated that the Government will continue to work with greater firmness to generate confidence, so that more tourists and investors arrive in Peru.

"We will continue to put love, affection, color, our culture, and our identity, since that is what it is about, revaluing Peru in every sense, showcasing it the world so that more tourists and investors come to this country, because we have generated trust," she expressed.

Within this framework, the President said that five hospitals are being built in Apurimac region, its streets and roads will be paved, not because she is native to that jurisdiction, but because it is an area that had been neglected for years.

"Each region has the same value and the same importance; that is why, in Huancavelica region —the only region without an airport— this government is going to build its airport. That is how we work," she stated.

Likewise, the top official invited domestic and foreign tourists to visit Apurimac to celebrate its carnivals and explore its tourist attractions, such as the Sordor Complex, Lake Pacucha, the thermal baths, the Señor de Animas festivities, among others.

"We have so much to offer from Apurimac to (the rest of) Peru and to the world; we hope to see you in March so you can experience the colors, dances, music, food, and warmth of Apurimac's people," she said.

The Head of State noted that the Apurimac Carnivals are recognized as some of the most joyful in the country.

She added that those who visit this region will be privileged witnesses to the traditional costume contest, dances, the entrance of Ño Carnavalon, and other activities.

The top official said the Executive Branch will continue strengthening cultural identity, as well as capabilities, ancestral knowledge and wisdom, in addition to cultural and intangible heritage.

Today's event also saw the participation of Ministers Desilu Leon (Foreign Trade-Tourism) and Fabricio Valencia (Culture).
