As part of the "Regularization for a Safe Country" campaign, the
National Superintendence of Migrations reports that foreigners who have a regular immigration status in Peru can access various public and private services to improve their living conditions.

It explains that regular immigration status is achieved through either a Temporary Stay Permit Card (CPP) or an Immigration Card.
For example, regular foreigners can submit a request for
recognition of university degrees before the
National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu) and practice a given profession, after becoming a member of the corresponding professional association if required by law, as well as participate in job search processes in the public or private fields.
Likewise, they can access financial services at banks and savings institutions, such as opening bank accounts, using banks' mobile applications to send and receive money, applying for loans and sending remittances to their countries of origin, enjoying the advantages of the financial system.
In addition, the RUC allows them to start a formal business, enter into employment contracts, as well as contribute and receive social security benefits.
The regular immigration status also allows foreigners to
apply for a professional driver's license at the
Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC), with a maximum validity period of one year if the process is carried out with the CPP, and up to five years, if the holder has an immigration card.
Additionally, foreigners can
receive information and guidance related to labor migration processes and their incorporation into the Peruvian labor market, through the Migrant Guidance Service of the
Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, among many other services.
