This is another milestone set out in the electoral schedule established by the JNE within the framework of said electoral process.
The previous key date was on August 2, when the deadline expired for submitting applications to form electoral alliances.
Five alliances
Five alliances had initially submitted their registration applications to the National Directorate of Political Organizations Registry (DNROP).
Of all these requests, the JNE approved the registration of Unidad Nacional (National Unity); it is composed of Peruanos Unidos ¡Somos Libres! (United Peruvians! We Are Free), Partido Popular Cristiano (Christian People's Party), and Unidad y Paz (Unity and Peace).
Likewise, the JNE authorized the registration of Fuerza y Libertad (Strength and Liberty), composed of Fuerza Moderna (Modern Force) and Batalla Peru (Battle for Peru) parties.
Moreover, Venceremos (We Will Overcome) was also approved; it consists of Nuevo Peru por el Buen Vivir (New Peru for Good Living) and Voces del Pueblo (Voices of the People) parties.
Meanwhile, the registration request for Frente de los Trabajadores y Emprendedores (Workers and Entrepreneurs Front) remains pending, as it is currently being processed by the DNROP.

Political organizations that fail to register can still participate in the April 2026 elections, but individually, provided they meet the legal requirements and deadlines set out in the electoral schedule, the JNE reported.
The General Elections will be held on April 12, 2026, with a potential runoff for the presidential race scheduled for June 7 of the same year.
