To promote cacao and chocolate abroad, nearly 10 producing companies from Peru participated in the "Chocoa 2025" fair, supported by the Peruvian Embassy in the Netherlands.

During the event's inauguration, Peru's Trade Counselor in Rotterdam, along with the Chargé d'Affaires, highlighted the national participation at the fair as an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality of Peruvian cacao, as well as the South American country's rich biodiversity and cultural heritage, to the world.

Our country was represented at the fair by the national companies Ecoandino, Elemento Chocolates, Organic Rainforest, Cooperativa Agraria Acopagro, Keshet Cacao, De Granex, Tamshi, Cacao El Quinacho, Cooperativa Agraria Norandino, and Aprocam, aiming to position Peruvian cacao and chocolate export products in the Dutch market.

The excellent qualities of Peruvian cacao and chocolate varieties were highlighted during business rounds with Dutch entrepreneurs.

Additionally, the Peruvian space offered attendees a tasting of cacao and presentations by archaeologist Quirino Olivera on the "Origins of Cacao in the Peruvian Amazon" and Agromercado representative Luis Llanos on "Tourism with Flavor: Leveraging Sustainable Cacao Tourism."

The "Chocoa 2025" took place in Amsterdam from February 4 to 9.
