proposed holding twice-a-month meetings with business associations to advance the development of measures aimed at launching a public-private investment stimulus package before July 28.
The government official made these remarks on
Monday during a gathering with said organizations, in which the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) received proposals to improve the business climate, including deregulation, process optimization, digitalization, and other topics to enhance the private sector's competitiveness.
The event was attended by representatives of the National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (Confiep); the Peruvian Exporters Association (Adex); the National Society of Industries (SNI); and the Peruvian Chamber of Construction (Capeco).
Also in attendance were representatives from the National Chamber of Commerce, Production, Tourism, and Services (Peru Camaras); the National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur); the Association of Agricultural Producer Guilds of Peru (Agap); the Foreign Trade Society of Peru (Comex Perú); and the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL).
Roadshows in Madrid and London
Meanwhile,
Economy and Finance Minister Jose Salardi received an invitation from inPERU to participate in roadshows in Madrid and London, scheduled for May 2025, aimed at promoting the South American country as a strong investment destination on the international stage.
inPERU is a nonprofit Peruvian association founded by the main business organizations of the Peruvian market.
