From Piura, where she led the VI Regional State Council, President Dina Boluarte said the government will continue to focus on dialogue, respect, and consensus as a strategic axis to promote sustainable development and social inclusion in Peru.

"This VI Regional State Council is a clear example of my government's decision to work hand-in-hand with the region, prioritizing dialogue and consensus as a means to advance in the realization of the major national objectives that will make Peru a more just, inclusive, and competitive country," she expressed.

Mrs. Boluarte indicated that these types of meetings are a multi-level governance mechanism where the national government and subregional ones engage in technical and political dialogue on territorial development, reaching agreements that help close gaps, especially in infrastructure.

Similarly, it allows -she said- to reinforce governability, strengthen cooperation, and foster the unity necessary to continue advancing on the path of progress. It is the best opportunity to build the Peru its citizens deserve.

"The needs of each region are unique and require a specific approach, which is why we tell you that the government will always be with you and for you. This is not only achieved by reaching agreements and consensus but also by following up on the implementation of what is resolved here, because we are a government that speaks through deeds, not through stories or smoke screens," she expressed.

Within this framework, President Boluarte noted that the agreements of the I Regional State Council have made 98% progress, with 83% of commitments fulfilled. Meanwhile, more than 300 agreements were reached at the last regional council. In this regard, the Ministry of Health registers the greatest progress.

The top official said the National Territorial Planning Policy was recently published as a response by the Peruvian State to territorial management. Besides, the issue of citizen security was addressed.

The Head of State indicated that she has fulfilled her commitment to achieving economic recovery, adding that economic growth will exceed 3% this year, a trend that will be consolidated during 2025.

"We must congratulate the governors and mayors because we have found consensus to achieve the development of our homeland. In these two years of government, we have been able to prioritize the interests of the country over personal or group interests," she said.
