on Monday called on Justice System members to agree on principles and policies that will allow for progress with an effective judicial reform that improves procedures and guarantees the confidence of citizens in their institutions.
"For my Government, justice reform is not just a technical goal, but also a commitment to democracy, the well-being of Peruvians, and the right to a judicial system accessible to all, without any discrimination," Mrs. Boluarte expressed at this event.
Under this premise, the top official reaffirmed her respect for the separation and independence of powers, as well as for the work of autonomous institutions such as the
National Justice Board (JNJ).
"Independence is the basis for the responsible exercise of our functions, far from any external pressure or undue external influence. No personal, group, ideological, or partisan interest, no under-the-table pacts or agreements take precedence in our actions and in our functions," she stated.
The Head of State indicated that her only interest and objective is to generate well-being for more Peruvians, as well as to contribute to strengthening democracy, peace, and harmonious coexistence in the country.
Mrs. Boluarte said that the task of State-run institutions in 2025 is challenging, but with unity, commitment, and the purpose of serving the people, it can be achieved.
"It will not only be the year of economic consolidation, but also building a modern and reliable justice system that is respected by all. We have a historic responsibility to the country: to make Peru a country of justice, equality, equity, and greater opportunities," she concluded.
