As part of
missions, the 9th Contingent of Peru's Engineering Company is carrying out various projects that contribute to the development of the Central African Republic, particularly in the town of Bouar, where several urban development projects have been undertaken.
With the support of heavy machinery, personnel from Peru's Armed Forces carried out clearing, leveling, watering, and soil compaction work for roads where government infrastructure, such as the Ministry of Military Justice, was built.
She highlighted the work of Peru's Engineering Company in contributing to the community's development and well-being.
Also present at this event were Central African Republic President Faustin Archange Touadéra; Peruvian Blue Helmets 9th Contingent Chief, Engineering Colonel Eduardo Quintana Dolorier; and other local authorities.
Currently, Peru participates in various
UN Peacekeeping operations, with military personnel serving as military observers, staff officers, and military contingents, in accordance with UN requests, contributing to peacekeeping efforts and special political missions worldwide.
