Peru: President heads meeting to coordinate actions against rains and floods

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Monday led a multi-sectoral meeting to coordinate actions in response to rains and floods of the 2025 season.

This gathering took place at the National Emergency Operations Center (COEN) in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

It also saw the participation of Cabinet Chief Gustavo Adrianzen and State ministers.

Joined by various State ministers, the Head of State coordinated efforts with regional and local authorities to strengthen the Peruvian State's response and ensure support for the most affected regions.

The top official specified that deputy ministers and directors from various sectors have been deployed to different parts of the country since Saturday to take the necessary actions aimed at assisting areas at risk of mudslides.
