The meeting also included Ministers Fabricio Valencia (Culture) and Angela Hernandez (Women-Vulnerable Populations).
Peru chaired the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum for the third time last year. The event brought together leaders of the world's 21 largest economies in Lima in November 2024.
During Peru's Presidency, more than 270 meetings were held in Lima, Urubamba, Arequipa, Trujillo, and Pucallpa.
Additionally, 15 documents were approved by consensus.
Peru also held the APEC Peru Presidency during 2008 and 2016, events that contributed to strengthening trade relations among member economies.
