The single, originally performed by the legendary Celia Cruz, was reimagined by Sheila E. and featured the great Gloria Estefan and Peruvian Mimy Succar, Tony Succar's mother.
With this collaboration, Mimy debuted alongside two of the most prominent artists in music.
It was the first time that a Peruvian artist shared a musical production with Gloria Estefan, one of the most important and influential Latin artists in the music industry worldwide.
"Working on this wonderful album has been a dream come true. Sheila E.'s first salsa album, accompanied by Gloria Estefan, the icon of Latin music in the USA!" a happy Mimy Succar told Andina News Agency months ago.
"Meeting Gloria was exciting. It is a big leap in my recording career, which started a couple of years ago. It is a blessing from God to experience this moment. It is an honor to be with them," the Peruvian artist expressed at that time.
It is worth noting that the album "Bailar" features exceptional collaborations with icons such as Ruben Blades, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique, Victor Manuelle, and many more.
