on Tuesday participated in the inauguration ceremony for the new satellite communication system of the
Defense Minister Walter Astudillo and FAP General Commander Carlos Chavez Cateriano also participated in the event.
It took place at Las Palmas Air Base in Lima's Surco district.
Chavez stressed that this is an important engineering project and a milestone in telecommunications for the country. It replaces a system that was in service for two decades.
