Various institutions extended their congratulations on Wednesday to
, the publishing house of Agencia Andina (Andina News Agency) and the Official Gazette El Peruano, as it celebrates 49 years since its creation.
The
Ministry of Production, through its head Sergio Gonzalez Guerrero, extended greetings to Felix Paz Quiroz, acting General Manager and acting Editor-in-Chief at Editora Peru, highlighting the significance of its work.
"We recognize the journalistic work carried out professionally by the team at El Peruano, Agencia Andina, and Servicios Editoriales y Gráficos (Segraf), providing high-quality information and keeping us informed about the country's political, social, and economic developments," the minister stated.
"From Mincetur, we congratulate Editora Peru, the home to El Peruano, Agencia Andina, and Segraf, —pillars of official, journalistic, and editorial information in the country— with serious and transparent journalism at the service of citizens," the entity stated in a message on social media.
Likewise, the
National Education Council (CNE) praised Editora Peru's contribution to the dissemination of legal, official, and cultural information, emphasizing its role in promoting education and culture nationwide.
"We highlight its commitment to modernization and digital transformation, which has strengthened transparency and public access to information for all citizens," the CNE stated in a communiqué.
"The Ministry of Environment (Minam) extends its best wishes to the team at Editora Peru, thanking them for their dedication, commitment, and vital role as a media outlet of the Peruvian state, contributing to the well-being of all," the government agency posted on social media.
Editora Peru began operations on February 12, 1976, with the establishment of its first board of directors, in compliance with Decree Law No. 21420. Today, it operates via two business lines: Official Publications & Digital Services, and Digital News Platforms, through which it manages El Peruano, Agencia Andina, and Segraf.
Aligned with the Peruvian State's modernization policy, the institution aims to meet citizens' needs through administrative simplification and digital transformation.
