Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer stated that the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, has a single objective for her government, which is to bring social peace, as well as political and economic stability to Peru.

"She has a single objective, one goal, which is to bring social peace and political stability to this country. All the challenges she has faced are issues that she views as part of her duty: to leave Peru in the best possible economic, social, and political state by July 2026," he told RPP Noticias on Tuesday.

On the other hand, the ambassador said that in November, within the framework of the APEC Leaders' Week which is the culmination of the APEC Peru 2024 Presidency, there will be a state visit by the President of China, Xi Jinping, and the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah.

As for U.S. President Joe Biden, Minister Schialer said his visit to Peru for the Leaders' Meeting in November has not yet been confirmed, although expectations remain that he may eventually arrive in our country.
