on Thursday specified that, so far in her administration, 47 educational centers have been completed, including 31 Bicentennial Schools, seven educational institutions, one modular school, five student residences, and three High-Performance Schools (COAR) in Ancash, Tacna, and Moquegua regions, benefiting over 50,000 students.
"These projects were built in just a few months because education cannot wait. They were carried out with clean hands, without stealing a single Sol (public funds) from Peruvians, and without allowing corruption —this scourge that has tainted institutions and stolen the dreams of our people. We fight against it relentlessly every day," she pointed out.
Afterwards, the top official specified that Educational Institution No. 1190 "Felipe Huaman Poma de Ayala" in Lima's Lurigancho – Chosica district required an investment of S/66 million (US$18 million) and will benefit 2,229 primary and secondary students.
"Dear students, you have a government that stands with you and is working on education with political will, effort, investment, and the determination that others failed to show in past decades," she expressed.
Moreover, President Boluarte reiterated that 780 teachers and administrative staff with serious criminal records —who had pending legal proceedings or prior convictions—were expelled so far during her administration.
Among them were individuals accused of harassment, sexual violence, and the promotion of violent and terrorist ideologies, all of whom have been removed from both public and private school classrooms.
"Through this measure, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring safe educational environments, free from any threat to our students. Our children are untouchable, and we must protect them," she concluded.
