Both of them conducted a reconnaissance flight over the most sensitive areas, assessing the security situation in different parts of Lima in real time.
The joint operation allowed for the presence of mobile and fixed patrols in targeted areas of Lima and Callao, including Los Olivos, San Martin de Porres, Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho, and Lurigancho-Chosica districts, areas known for their high insecurity level.
In these areas, Armed Forces personnel collaborated with the Peruvian National Police in identity control tasks aimed at identifying wanted persons.
Among the points with the highest concentration of agents are places of high traffic and commerce, such as the Unicachi Market, the Caqueta Oval, the Naranjal Oval, as well as the Ñaña and Tomas Valle Bus Stops.
Free transportation
In parallel, 38 Armed Forces buses were deployed in different parts of Lima to offer provide free-of-charge transportation services to citizens affected by the strike.
These vehicles belong to the Army (18 buses), the Navy (10 buses), and the Air Force (10 buses).
They are operating in key areas, such as Santa Anita, Ancon, Collique, San Martin de Porres, Chorrillos, Villa El Salvador, San Borja, and Santiago de Surco districts.
This service aims to facilitate the movement of citizens who were limited by the shutdown, ensuring that essential activities can continue normally, it was indicated.
