The Peru Service Summit (PSS) —the country's leading platform for the trade of services, organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru)— returns with a new edition full of opportunities for Peruvian and international companies.

Since its inception in 2011, the PSS has established itself as a key pillar for developing and expanding service trade in Peru and the region.

In its national and international editions, the event has generated business opportunities totaling an impressive US$964 million, bringing together more than 160,000 professionals through the academic component of its international forum.

"This event is one of the most prominent showcases at a regional level for promoting Peru’s knowledge-based professional services. As we celebrate 20 years of promoting service exports, 14 commercial promotion activities are planned to boost Peruvian service companies in international markets, not only to export but also to establish subsidiaries," PromPeru Executive-President Claricia Tirado emphasized.

Over the years, the Peru Service Summit has proven to be a key driver for service exports.

From 2011 to 2023, except 2020, the event brought together 974 Peruvian service-exporting companies and 1,027 international buyers from over 25 countries.

In its six international editions, held since 2018, the event has featured 180 Peruvian companies that generated US$151.1 million in business opportunities.

"The Peru Service Summit has not only established itself as an international event but also demonstrates its strong commitment to decentralization. Approximately 25% of participating Peruvian companies come from various regions of the country, including Cusco, Arequipa, Tacna, La Libertad, and Junin," Tirado added.

2024 Edition

For this year's edition, to be held from October 14-18, the Peru Service Summit will offer three key components: the academic section, featuring activities like the International Forum and Specialized Workshops; the business section, including the International Business Roundtable and the Virtual Exhibition of Peruvian Service Companies; and the "Peru Exports Services" Recognition Ceremony.

The event expects to host 85 Peruvian exporting companies and 70 in-person buyers from leading Latin American countries and Spain, in addition to a similar number of virtual buyers from the United States and European countries. The goal is to achieve or surpass US$100 million in business opportunities.

The Peru Service Summit 2024 reaffirms its commitment to promoting and expanding the trade of services, offering unique opportunities for business development, as well as strengthening the country's global presence in the services market.
