The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today extended a heartfelt Christmas greeting to all Peruvians, wherever they are, within the country and abroad, with a message of unity.
This message was shared through the official account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the platform X.
"From the Foreign Ministry, we send a warm greeting to every Peruvian, especially to our compatriots abroad. May this Christmas continue to create unforgettable moments with family. We will keep working to build the country we all deserve," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represents Peru internationally and provides support to Peruvians abroad. Its areas of responsibility include international relations, foreign policy, and international cooperation.
Globally, it operates through a network of Foreign Service Offices with 65 embassies, 69 consulates, and 14 permanent representations to international organizations such as the United Nations and the Organization of American States.
In Peru, it is headquartered in Lima and maintains Decentralized Offices in 13 regions of the Peruvian territory.
The ministry's priorities include promoting and defending Peru's interests and protecting its citizens abroad.
These actions are aligned with the Multiyear Sectoral Strategic Plan 2024–2030, the Institutional Strategic Plan 2020–2026, and the Institutional Operational Plan.
