Peru appoints two consuls general to U.S.

The Peruvian Government —through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs— has appointed two new consuls general to the United States of America.

The supreme resolutions were published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Thursday.

The first document corresponds to the appointment of Czibor Omar Chicata-Sutmöller Sagenschnier, Counselor in the Diplomatic Service, as Consul General of Peru to Salt Lake City, State of Utah.

Via the second resolution, Miguel Alejandro Ramirez Moscoso, First Secretary in the Diplomatic Service, was appointed Consul General of Peru to the city of Phoenix, State of Arizona.

In both cases, it is noted that the consular jurisdiction will be that established in Supreme Decree No. 013-2011-RE, dated January 28, 2011. 

The corresponding letters patent will be granted to both consuls general.

In addition, the date on which they will take up duties is to be set by deputy ministerial resolution.

Both resolutions were signed by the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte and Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea.
