Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Monday affirmed the Inca country will achieve the expected development, as long as it fights corruption frontally.
Thus, the Head of State called on civil society to join efforts towards this objective.
During the High-Level Anti-Corruption Commission session held at the Government Palace, the statesman stressed said efforts must be undertaken by all sectors.
"I want you to give us the necessary and sufficient time to see how we go from theory to practice, from discourse to specific procedures," Mr. Vizcarra expressed.
"We are convinced that we will not be able to achieve the development we are looking for, if we do not fight
corruption frontally (…). There can be no development with
corruption," he said.
