18:01 | Cusco (Cusco region), Oct. 21.

Families and tourists in Cusco were allowed to photograph themselves and record short videos with the vehicles from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts —movie currently under production— which were part of an exhibition on Saphy Street, a few blocks away from the Imperial City's Main Square.

After finishing shooting action scenes in the Historic Center of Cusco —such as Plaza Mayor (Main Square), San Pedro Small Square, and streets such as Cuesta de Santa Ana, Tambo de Montero, Unión— the vehicles were showcased at an old gas station.

Dozens of local families lined up since the early morning because the production company had surprised the same neighbors with the exhibition the previous day. To avoid crowds the trucks that will become Autobots —led by Optimus Prime— were showcased starting Thursday at noon.

To avoid the tumult and possible traffic accidents, the organizers of this brief exhibition placed railings and cones, although —at times— this order was not respected by the public.

Among attendees were domestic tourists (mostly from Lima), housewives who arrived with their children and grandchildren, even some former authorities, who at times applauded as the vehicles' engines were started. It was quite a show.

Some members of Apu Productions avoided talking to reporters, and indicated that they were not authorized to do so. However, rumors said they would leave for Ica on Friday to continue shooting the movie.
