President Castillo receives greetings from Bishops of Peru

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Monday met with the President of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference (CEP), Monsignor Miguel Cabrejos.

The gathering was held in a warm, cordial, and fraternal environment at the Government Palace in Lima.

In the course of the conversation, Monsignor Cabrejos conveyed the greetings of all Bishops of Peru to the Head of State on his first six months in office.

The meeting took place in line with previous meetings between the Peruvian Episcopal Conference and the Government or other State-run institutions.

It should be pointed out that Monsignor Cabrejos is also President of the Latin American Episcopal Council (CELAM).
