17:49 | Konyaspor (Turkey), Aug. 6.

Peruvian soccer player Paolo Hurtado will continue his career in Turkey, where he will play for Konyaspor club during the next three seasons.

A few days ago, some media outlets had reported Hurtado would be transferred to MLS' Seattle Sounders thus joining compatriot Raul Ruidiaz.

News suddenly changed when the Turkish team made its excellent offer.

Although the club has not disclosed any salary figures, it is known that Hurtado will be the best-paid player of this team.

The 28-year-old was seen at Konyaspor facilities along with his agent Elio Casareto on Monday morning. After passing the physical exams, he signed the three-year contract.

Hurtado has played for Vitoria F.C. (Portugal), Reading F.C. (England), F.C. Paços de Ferreira (Portugal), Peñarol (Uruguay), Alianza Lima, and Juan Aurich (Peru).
