Renowned restaurant La Mar by Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio has received a special award as part of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2023.

Thus, the Service Award was given to the team at La Mar by Gaston Acurio, managed by Tomislav Lokvicic.

"Typical Peruvian colors fill the room, while staff shine equally brightly, thanks to their enthusiasm and energy, which results in service that is warm, caring and professional," reads the description provided by the MICHELIN Guide.

Likewise, it indicates that the staff are clearly proud of the food they serve and are keen to recommend dishes and wines to enhance their customers' experience.

According to the Point of View section, "enthusiastic staff are here to greet you at this first-floor restaurant at the Atlantis The Royal hotel – the views are impressive and the DJ ensures the atmosphere never lets up."

Besides, the large fish counter is busting with prime seafood, and the menu is full of classic Peruvian dishes, from ceviche and tiraditos to anticuchos.

Additionally, a Pisco Sour is recommended while at La Mar, as it "will help you make your choices."

MICHELIN revealed, at the Atlantis The Royal hotel, its new selection of restaurants in the MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2023.

A total of 90 restaurants, covering 23 different types of cuisine, have caught the attention of the famously anonymous MICHELIN inspectors.
