Peru's President meets with Congress Chairman

President Martin Vizcarra is meeting with Congress Chairman Manuel Merino at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital Lima.

As previously stated by the Head of State, the meeting is intended to establish a common agenda and put aside those inconveniences of political nature.

Merino revealed that he requested the meeting last Thursday during the ceremony marking the Armed Forces Day.

According to the Congress of the Republic, its chairman will present proposals on health and economic reactivation aspects, as well as the regions' social demands.
