Peru's President leads last 'Changing of the Guard' at Government Palace

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Sunday presided over the traditional "Changing of the Guard" ceremony, the last one under his mandate, which will end on July 28, 2021.

Led by the "Mariscal Domingo Nieto" Cavalry Regiment Escort, the event was held at the Honor Courtyard of the Government Palace.

The Head of State also led the previous Changing of the Guard on July 18, which took place days before the central celebration of Peru's Independence Day.
