During the departure ceremony of BAP Curaray ship, the statesman highlighted the work carried out by the Itinerant Social Action Platforms (PIAS) to bring State-run services closer to the populations residing on the banks of Ucayali River.
"This is a way of proving that it is possible —in coordinated work with the
Navy, the
Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, and other State entities— to reach out to all communities, no matter how far away they may be, offering them the services needed," he said.
The Peruvian leader also specified that the PIAS BAP Curaray will sail through Ucayali for 41 days.
